Ms. Brenda Anderson, owner and operator, is currently a faculty member at Houston Community College in Katy, Texas. She is the Director of the Horticulture Department and recently was awarded the 2011 Christa McAliff Teacher of the Year for Post Secondary Education by the West Houston Area Chamber of Commerce. Brenda is an activist for sustainability, education and community enrichment. While completeing her Master's Degree, Ms. Anderson studied aquaponics, system design and the practicality of large scale commercialization for both hydroponic and aquaponic systems. She currently has been teaching Introduction to Aquaponics at HCC for 3 years, has attended multiple trainings and brings a true hands on learning experience. |

| Jeff Koch, PhD, co-owner and operator, is currently a County Extension Agent for Agriculture and Natual Resources in Harris County, Texas and is an adjunct professor at Houston Community College. He has taught various courses in Horticulture, Soils, Forages and Pastures and Animal Science. Jeff is passionate about agriculture and educating both youth and adults providing opportunities for growth and enrichment. |
